Violet Cafe
Today was a rainy day, so I choose to reminisce of Sunday which was such a lovely day and even more so, because of the Violet Cafe just around the corner!
I have been a big fan of her delious cupcakes for a long time, so was very delighted when I discovered her cafe, which is a true gem and must be visitied! The polenta plum cupcakes and the salted caramel are my favorites!

Paris Fashion week top 7
Lavin / Amazing use of materials and embellishments. Love the accessories and the pops of colour!
Rocha / Love the folklore, European house wife chic influence and the interesting colour combinations, and the fact the Rocha always seems to follow his heart and not the trends.
Stella McCartney / oh Stella how I love the way you empower the way women dress in the most relaxed yet sophisticated way. Love that double denim is still going strong and the amazing citrus prints. c-vitamin chic!
Veronique Leroy / A perfect wearable collection oozing quality and cool femininity. Love the shirts!
Valentino / Love what Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri have done with Valentino, and this collection was every girls pink dream of ruffles and perfect day dresses. Very disappointed in the choice of unhealthily skinny looking models.
Carven / First time I come across this newly rejuvenated label but fell absolutely in love with, first of all, the amazing black bow shoes and the clever styling, and the very 'London girl' cool day - evening dresses. A great look.
Chanel / Some of the best footwear of the season. Nothing else to say than I want all four pairs, please. really amazing.

Colour is the new black
Love this new 'Heima' series of candle holders designed by Francis Cayouette for Norman Copenhagen. Great shoot, reminds me of the Carl Kleiner for Ikea shoot I posted last week. Come Autumm time everyone needs a splash of colour to go with their black.
