Friday inspiration / Lucienne Day

 

Lucienne day is one of the reasons I wanted to be a textile print designer and the freshness and forever classic aesthetics of her designs still inspires me today. Her and her husband, the furniture designer Robin Day, was properly the coolest couple, in the British design world, in those days.  The first picture (with Harry Legg from John Lewis) is from the Design Museums amazing picture achieve.
