Visit / The Royal Science Society

 Went to a very west end affair last week. An opening for an exhibition at the Royal Science Society (The exhibition is very worth a visit by the way) I love getting insights into societies like these, and the building itself is beautiful, marble and heavy intricate cut wooden doors everywhere. They even had a lock of Newton's hair exhibited and a portrait of the man who invented milk chocolate.

Weekend Adventure / Shadow Catchers at V&A

This exhibition is an absolute must see. It is a real inspiring and revitalising exhibition about an art form I have really never considered before as a whole. I was especially blown away by the work of Susan Derges. Her work for me show the honest beauty of nature, and how magical it is.

Shades down in Tokyo Town is an experimental and conceptual eye wear exhibition/installation designed and curated by Hedmankling, and about to tour London, Stockholm and Gothenburg.  Can't wait to see this! . via weheart. 

London / Aware - Art Fashion Identity

Will recommend the exhibition Aware - Art Fashion Identity at the Royal Academy. It features work by 30 international artists, amongst other Alexander McQueen, La Maison Martin Margiela, Yoko Ono and the commission piece ' Little Rich Girl' by Yinka Shonibare (photos above) . Not ground breaking stuff but personal work that speaks to our modern lifestyle. Really worth a visit.
