Friday inspiration / Bjork

Bjork has always been one of my biggest inspirations and one of the most magical music experiences I have ever had. I spend a lot of my teenage years sitting in my room listing to her music and painting dreamy landscape pieces in her honour, but the truth is she still rocks and she is still an inspiration!

Went to the private view for the Sue Timney and the designs of Timney-Fowler exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum, last night. The exhibition is so beautiful, well curated, and so worth a visit!

Dalston Eastern Curve Garden

Amazing local initiative, very pretty little garden in Dalston where you can just hang out or participate in one of their craft and gardening workshops and events. I tip it to be a hot spot for the summer.
Make sure to check out the FARM:Shop across the road when you are there. A real farm with all the trimmings in a run down old shop in Dalston. They even have live stock. Very positive and inspiring!

Paris Fashion week top 7

Lavin / Amazing use of materials and embellishments. Love the accessories and the pops of colour!
Rocha / Love the folklore, European house wife chic influence and the interesting colour combinations, and the fact the Rocha always seems to follow his heart and not the trends.
Stella McCartney / oh Stella how I love the way you empower the way women dress in the most relaxed yet sophisticated way. Love that double denim is still going strong and the amazing citrus prints. c-vitamin chic!

Veronique Leroy / A perfect wearable collection oozing quality and cool femininity. Love the shirts!

Valentino / Love what Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri have done with Valentino, and this collection was every girls pink dream of ruffles and perfect day dresses. Very disappointed in the choice of unhealthily skinny looking models.

Carven / First time I come across this newly rejuvenated label but fell absolutely in love with, first of all, the amazing black bow shoes and the clever styling, and the very 'London girl' cool day - evening dresses. A great look.

Chanel / Some of the best footwear of the season. Nothing else to say than I want all four pairs, please. really amazing.

Tatty Devine Hoe down

Went to a super cute event last night at Tatty Devine's Covent Garden shop. There was can can dancers, cowboy and indians, adorable jewelery off course, and a very nice goody bag! giddy up!
