I know I am slightly behind on my up to date music news and normally I am not very inspired by used-to- be-ballerina-perfect-Scandinavian-gorgeous-blondes, but this lady, Nanna Øland Fabricius, the lead singer of Oh Land is pretty cool, and the music is pretty cool too.  Can't wait to catch one of their balloon and audio rich live shows this summer.

Niki de Saint Phalle was beautiful, intelligent, cool, wild and talented. She shot at art, created the worlds biggest 'hon', and designed a tarot garden. She is one of my favourite female artists.
